    • Motor pulley Dia. = Compressor pulley Dia. x Compressor RPM / Motor RPM.
    • Compressor pulley Dia. = Motor pulley Dia. x Motor RPM / Compressor RPM.
    • Motor RPM = Compressor Pulley Dia. x Compressor RPM / Motor pulley Dia.
    • Air compressors are normally rated to deliver 4 to 5 CFM per horsepower at 100 PSIG discharge pressure.
    • Air-compressor-motor amperage draw:
    • 1 Phase
    		 115V - 10 Amps per HP
    230V - 5 Amps per HP
    • 3 Phase
    		 230V - 2.50 Amps per HP
    460V - 1.25 Amps per HP
     

    Air Motors

    • Typically air-motors consume 30 CFM of air at 90 psig per horsepower.
    • Every 2-psig change in pressure equals 1% change in horsepower.
