RECHTORSEAL BLUE HIGH PRESSURE NON-HARDENING PIPE THREAD SEALANT
New. RectorSeal Tru-Blu pipe thread sealant with PTFE plus synthetic fibers. These fibers dispersed in a resinous base combined with inert mineral fillers provide maximum sealing performance. Its low coefficient of friction allows tighter joint makeup with lower torque. It also breaks out easily without galling, seizing, or damaging threads. It is excellent for service where immediate pressurization is necessary. RectorSeal® BLUE+ is non-toxic in accordance with NSF Standard 61. In addition, it is CSA Certified. Applications include a variety of metal and plastic piping including iron, galvanized steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum, polyethylene, reinforced fiberglass, PVC, ABS and CPVC including FlowGuard Gold®*. Certified to IAPMO PS-36 for use with PE, PVC, ABS and CPVC. Not recommended for oxygen, chlorine and other oxidizers.

Instructions:

• Step 1: Stir before using. Wipe threads clean.
• Step 2: For pipe diameters up to 1-1/4", apply to male threads only. For larger sizes, apply to both male and female threads
• Step 3: Join and tighten pipe to ANSI Standards. Piping may be placed into service immediately.
